Library Cards

Valid library cards from any of the Willoughby-Eastlake Public Libraries, CLEVNET libraries or a Greater Access Card entitles you to:

  • Charge out library material
  • Access the databases of the Cleveland Public Electronic Library
Who may apply for a library card

Library cards are free. Ohio Residents 18 years of age or older must present ID with the current address listed. Acceptable ID:

  • Drivers license/Ohio ID
  • Recently delivered mail
  • Utility bill receipt
  • Rent/Lease receipt
  • Report card mailed to home
Children under the age of 18 are eligible for cards at their parent's/legal guardian's request. Parent's/legal guardian's ID must be presented; parents/legal guardians must sign for their child's library card to accept financial responsibility for material borrowed by their child. Parents/Legal guardians assume responsibility for what library material they feel is suitable for their child.

Library cards must be presented in order to check out, renew, or place reserves on library materials.

Card holders are responsible for all items borrowed. If a card is lost or stolen, please notify any Willoughby-Eastlake or CLEVNET library. There is a $1.00 fee for replacement cards.
